Daewoo Motor America (Southeast) Account Puts Tausche Martin Lonsdorf in the Driver's Seat

ATLANTA, July 14 -- Daewoo Motor America (Southeast) has
awarded its advertising account for the southeastern U.S. to Atlanta's Tausche
Martin Lonsdorf.
Tausche Martin Lonsdorf (TML) will be responsible for all creative and
implementation of advertising in Daewoo's Southeast region, which includes
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South
Carolina and Tennessee.
"Any of the agencies we reviewed would have been excellent choices for
Daewoo," said Bruce Schufreider, senior marketing manager for Daewoo Motor
America (Southeast). "We were most impressed with the strategic insight that
Tausche Martin Lonsdorf brought to the table along with their creative
concepts. Proven experience and media strength were primary concerns with all
the agencies, but what it truly comes down to is people. We are a smart
choice for each other!"
The account will include print, radio and television work. The size of
the account was not disclosed.
"Quite simply, we believe in Daewoo. We respect their people, and love
their cars," said Andy Fletcher, president of Tausche Martin Lonsdorf. "This
is a tremendous opportunity for TML to help launch the most exciting marketing
effort ever in the automotive industry."
Tausche Martin Lonsdorf is one of Atlanta's fastest growing advertising
agencies. With more than $50 million in projected 1997 billings, TML's staff
of more than 70 currently represents several major clients across a range of
industries, including Arby's, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Energizer
Batteries, CNN NewsSource and Mrs. Winner's Chicken & Biscuits.
Daewoo Motor America is a division of Seoul, South Korea-based Daewoo
Corporation, and was recently ranked by Fortune magazine as the 34th largest
