The winning companies were selected from a GM supplier base consisting of over 30,000 firms worldwide for exceeding specific performance standards in quality, service and price. "Suppliers recognized as GM's Supplier of the Year demonstrated throughout 1996 that they are the 'Best of the Best' in their respective businesses," said Harold R.
