Federal-Mogul Names Jeff J. O'Neill Vice President of MarketingSOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 7 -- Dick Snell, chairman and chief executive officer of Federal-Mogul Corporation today announced the appointment of Jeff J. O'Neill to vice president of marketing, effective July 21, 1997. "Jeff O'Neill is a highly talented professional with strong consumer marketing and brand management experience," said Snell. "He is known for his charismatic leadership style and has a proven track record of building high performance teams. Jeff will be instrumental in the development of our strategic direction for Federal-Mogul products in the U.S. aftermarket business." O'Neill joins Federal-Mogul from The Quaker Oats Company where he most recently served as business director, Quaker Snacks, where he developed, launched and repositioned several key products. During his 17 year career at Quaker Oats, O'Neill served as business director for their Central U.S. customer business center and was responsible for the development of the "total business" approach to customer development. Prior to that, O'Neill worked for Quaker Canada where he held a variety of senior management positions including vice president of sales, director of trade marketing, and group product manager. O'Neill earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in business from the University of Ottawa in Canada, graduating with honors.
