Metrotrans Appoints James C. LaRue Director of ManufacturingGRIFFIN, Ga., July 7 -- Metrotrans Corporation announced that Mr. James C. LaRue has joined the Company as Director of Manufacturing. Mr. LaRue comes to Metrotrans with more than 25 years of manufacturing experience in industrial engines, trucking, and motor coach industries. He will oversee all of Metrotrans' manufacturing operations. In 1970, Mr. LaRue began his career as a press operator at Atwood Machine Company, a manufacturer of automotive components. From that point on, Mr. LaRue continued in industrial manufacturing with such notable companies as: Kelsey Hayes, Eagle International, Transportation Manufacturing Corporation, and Stewart & Stevenson, Inc. Within these companies, he progressed through the levels of Supervisor, General Foreman, Superintendent, Plant Manager and Manufacturing Operations Manager. In his most recent position at Anaheim Industries, he was Vice President, Manufacturing, where his responsibilities included control of manufacturing, engineering, and R&D operations. In addition, while at Anaheim, Mr. LaRue was instrumental in bringing about better worker attitudes and morale, which also improved operational efficiencies. Commenting on James C.
