Fitch Upgrades Premier Auto Trust $368.7M Sub ABS To 'AAA' - Fitch Financial Wire -

NEW YORK, July 2 -- Fitch has upgraded Premier Auto Trust's
$48 million subordinate asset-backed certificates series 1993-3 to 'AAA' from
'AA', $50 million series 1993-4 to 'AAA' from 'AA-', $42 million series 1993-5
to 'AAA' from 'AA+', $60 million series 1993-6 to 'AAA' from 'AA-',
$56.25 million series 1994-1 to 'AAA' from 'AA', $56.25 million series 1994-2
to 'AAA' from 'AA' and $56.24 million series 1995-4 to 'AAA' from 'A+'. The
upgrades are based upon the low cumulative losses experienced on the pools of
retail auto loan contracts, as well as the strong underwriting and servicing
capabilities of Chrysler Credit Corp. Current delinquency and loss rates on
the pools are consistent with Fitch's expectations, and Fitch does not expect
losses to increase above current levels over the remaining life of the loans.
The low losses, combined with the amortization of the loans, has resulted
in increased credit enhancement for the certificates, as the reserve fund now
represents a greater percentage of the outstanding pool balance.
