Chrysler Will Announce Second-Quarter 1997 Earnings July 11

    Chrysler Corporation will announce second-quarter 1997 earnings
on Friday, July 11, at 8 a.m. in the Company's press room in the World
Headquarters building.
    News media should gather in the World Headquarters visitors' lobby
at 7:30 a.m.  They will be met by a Chrysler representative and escorted
to the press room.  Parking is available in the visitors' parking structure
attached to the World Headquarters.
    The earnings announcement will be released on the PR Newswire at 8:05 a.m.
and subsequently published as the "Top Story" on Chrysler's Media Relations
Web Site.
