Horton Corporate Marketing Department Takes Shape

    MINNEAPOLIS, June 30 -- Horton, Inc. has a new product
management focused marketing function.  The department leaders and their
functions will include:

    Mary Harreld, Marketing Manager - Communications: Mary comes to Horton
from General Mills and will be responsible for managing marketing
communications for the firm's domestic and international operations.

    Jahn Stopperan, Product Manager - Motion Control Systems: Jahn has been
with Horton for two years and will be responsible for managing the firm's Air
Champ(R) clutch and brake products for Horton Industrial Products, Inc.

    Chris Greene, Product Manager - Web Control Systems: Chris has been with
Horton for four years and will be responsible for managing the firm's web
control products for Horton Industrial Products, Inc.

    Mary Bolan, Marketing Assistant:  Mary has been with Horton for six years
and will be responsible for providing support to the product managers within
Horton Industrial Products, Inc.

    Tom Kleich, Product Manager - Vehicle Component Systems: Tom has been with
Horton for ten years and will be responsible for managing the firm's
DieslTemp(R) fan clutch products for Horton Vehicle Components, Inc.

    Anne Fairchild, Marketing Assistant: Anne has been with Horton for three
years and will be responsible for providing support to the product managers
for Horton Vehicle Components, Inc.

    Mike Dysthe, Marketing Data Management:  Mike has been with Horton for
nine years and will be responsible for providing data analysis and database
management support to product management.

    Horton, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of motion control systems for
industrial applications; engine cooling systems and other components for
diesel-powered vehicles; and web control systems for printing and conversion
