Henke Appointed President Of Digital Motorworks, Inc.

Former EDS Executive To Take Helm Of Innovative Austin Start-Up

AUSTIN, Texas, June 30 -- Capping a uniquely successful
startup process, Digital Motorworks, Inc. (DMI) has appointed John Henke its
new president.
Formerly vice president of sales for the Internet and New Media division
of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in Plano, Henke brings a wealth of knowledge
in Internet and new media experience.
"John is uniquely qualified to lead an Internet-related startup firm like
ours," noted Varick Foster, DMI co-founder and chief executive officer. "At
EDS, he was one of the visionaries who helped grow that company's Internet
business line in 1995 -- a line that grew from zero to $125 million in sales
in 1996. He was instrumental in developing strategic partnerships for EDS --
something that will be central to the steady growth of DMI."
A 1985 graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a business degree in
management information systems, Henke originally worked as a sales engineer
and later as a sales representative for Xerox in Minneapolis. He has excelled
in sales and sales management positions at Honeywell Corporation, and San Jose
semiconductor distributor Anthem Electronics. In 1994 he joined EDS,
originally as director of strategic sales for the firm's client-server group.
