Ross Roy Expands International Presence for ChryslerBLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., March 31 -- Ross Roy Communications, Inc. is expanding its international capabilities to help ensure it will best meet the current and future marketing communications needs of its exclusive client, Chrysler Corporation , around the world. Tim Copacia, president of Ross Roy Communications, made the announcement today, saying the agency is excited by Chrysler's outstanding growth and acceptance worldwide and will be "wherever Chrysler needs us" anywhere around the globe. Ross Roy Communications is one of the world's largest, full-service marketing communications agencies. The agency is unusual in that it is focused and committed exclusively to only one account -- Chrysler Corporation and its various brands and operations. Its international work will include providing Chrysler with product and sales training, trade-show support, database development and other marketing communications activities. The company's plan to expand its international capability began with the recent hiring of a new Senior Vice President to lead its international operations, a commitment to open offices in Mexico City, Brussels and other locations as identified by Chrysler and Ross Roy. "Francois Castaing has an outstanding vision for Chrysler's worldwide presence and you can be sure that Ross Roy Communications will hold up our end by providing world-class marketing communications around the world," said Ross Roy's Copacia. Copacia announced that Allan Vernier has been named Senior Vice President/ Group Account Director - Chrysler International. Vernier's 30 years' experience in automotive communications includes extensive experience working with Chrysler, while a Senior Vice President/Account Management Supervisor on Dodge Truck advertising at BBDO Detroit, Ross Roy's parent agency, helping to launch the Dodge Ram, Dodge Dakota and the new sport utility, Durango. In addition, Vernier has more than 10 years' international experience directing communications programs for companies abroad. This includes coordinating automotive advertising and merchandising activities for General Motors Corporate, AC-Delco/GM Parts, U.S. Vehicle car parts, Vauxhall/Opel Cars and Bedford/Isuzu Trucks. He lives in Troy, Mich. Jack Oliver, executive vice president/director of account services, Ross Roy Communications, said: "Allan Vernier has the experience and leadership skills to ensure the successful implementation of our international plans. Ross Roy Communications' first step is to fill the positions of Account Directors to manage its opportunities in Mexico as well as across Europe. Enrique Curiel has accepted the position of Account Director for Chrysler- Mexico. Curiel previously worked for McCann Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather Direct. He has extensive experience developing global marketing strategies, consulting with the development of databases and supervising direct marketing programs. Curiel will continue to reside in Mexico City. Additionally, John Kuzava is being promoted to Vice President/Account Director of its European operations. Kuzava will relocate to Brussels, Belgium to help service Chrysler's growing needs across Europe. He returns to Europe having worked for Maritz Communications in Great Britain in the mid- 80's. Kuzava has more than 20 years' experience as a manager of training and communications programs. Prior to his promotion, Kuzava was Vice President/ Account Supervisor at Ross Roy.
