At one time, we were pretty good when Kirk (Shelmerdine, the team's consultant) came over and spent some time in the pits and we made a lot of changes that seemed to make it better, but by then, we were so far back that it was awful hard to make up ground."

"Our car was good. We needed a long, green run, which we never got. Our car was better for a long run, but I don't know if we could have run with Mark (Martin), even if we had a long run or not."
