INDIANAPOLIS- The funeral service for
Indianapolis 500 veteran and former USAC open-wheel standout Stan Fox, who
died in a traffic accident Dec. 18 in New Zealand, is scheduled for Dec.
29
in his native Janesville, Wis.The funeral will start at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at the First Lutheran Church, 612 N. Randall Ave. in Janesville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Janesville.
Calling hours are scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 at the First Lutheran Church.
A memorial service in Indianapolis will take place in early May 2001. Details will be provided later.
Survivors include Foxs former wife, Jean Fox; their children, Marie and Alex; Foxs two brothers, Robert Fuchs of Edgerton, Wis., and Fred Fox of Incline Village, Nev.; a sister, Jeana Fox of Mound, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
