ROGAINE TO SPONSOR AT SPEED MOTORSPORTS

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--The Speedvision World Challenge, in conjunction with At Speed Motorsports, has announced Rogaine as the official sponsor of the "Rogaine Hair-Raising Pass of the Day" for the 2001 Speedvision GT season.

Rogaine, the industry-leading hair regrowth product marketed by the Pharmacia Corporation, will offer a $500 cash award to the driver who pulls off the pass of the day in each of the 2001 Speedvision GT Championship races. Judging will come from the Speedvision World Challenge PR, Race Control and television staff.

"Were thrilled to be involved with the Speedvision World Challenge for 2001," said Chris Jepson, Rogaine Associate Marketing Manager. "This is a new endeavor for Rogaine, but people who are fans of sports car racing are certainly in our market, so its a good fit and were looking forward to the season."

In addition to its involvement with the Pass of the Day award, Rogaine will serve as title sponsor for At Speed Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car driven by Bob Miller. Miller, who started three races in 2000 with a best finish of 15th at Laguna Seca, will shoot for the 2001 Speedvision GT Rookie of the Year award.

"We studied the demographics of the World Challenge fans and found that the traditional sponsorsfuel companies, brake companies and tire companieswere only part of the group that the World Challenge audience gravitated toward," said Miller. "There are thousands of fans that show up to each event, offering a significant opportunity for brand promotion, consumer product sampling and even purchasing. Weve targeted consumer product sponsors like Wine.com, United Specialties Custom Motorhome/Trailer Builders, Ford Excursion and the Petco Foundation. Now, with Rogaine, we have moved into the pharmaceutical area as well."

Additionally, Rogaine will provide associate sponsorship for At Speed Motorsports Rookie Greg Merril and Team Tech Racings Scott Boverunner-up in the 2000 Rookie of the Year chase.

"Rogaines involvement marks the first non-automotive consumer sponsorship for the Speedvision World Challenge," said Mitch Wright, Speedvision World Challenge General Manager. "Were thrilled to have them on board, and look forward to working with them on promoting both the series and their products."
