BOCA RATON, Florida--B.A. Wilson, Sonntag Racing and the # 73 Berryman B-12 Chemtool team are in for a change. A change that team owner Joey Sonntag hopes will thrust the team towards the forefront of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Team owner Joey Sonntag called on a long time friend for a little help. Sonntag Racing is proud to announce that they will be using Dodge sheet metal and horsepower at the seasons final race in Fontana California. The new truck will be from the stable of Mike Farris and TKO Motorsports.

"We know that we have a proven commodity with Mike Farris' equipment considering where their trucks have run all year. It will be a little different than driving the Chevrolet, but with the extended practice on Thursday, we should be able to make the adjustments without much difficulty" noted B.A. on the last minute switch.

There are many connections between the two team owners. Joey Sonntag once drove an ARCA entry that belonged to Mike Farris, both men operate teams out of Ft. Worth Texas, and both men are from the concrete business. Current TKO driver David Starr also drove for Sonntag when the team made its appearance in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, amiably parting ways towards the end of the 1999 season.

Joey Sonntag believes Dodge horsepower will help reverse the teams misfortune in the last few races. Dodge trucks finished in three of the top five spots at last years season ending event at California Speedway. The # 73 Chemtooler's hope that with this change and a little luck they can race to a finish moving them into the top twenty of the point standings for the 2000 race season.

Join the # 73 Berryman B-12 Chemtooler's and B.A. Wilson as they take the green flag on October 28, 2000, at 4 p.m. eastern time in the Motorola 200. California Speedways D shaped oval is known for high speeds and close finishes. This is the 24th and final race of 2000 and will be carried live on television and radio by ESPN2 and MRN.
