Kenseth will be making his 35th career Winston Cup start at Lowe's Motor Speedway this weekend. Matt has grabbed one win, five top-five finishes and ten top-ten finishes in his Winston Cup career.

Matt will be running the same DEWALT Ford Taurus he ran during the Charlotte spring race.

Kenseth captured his first career Winston Cup win at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 28, 2000, making him the only rookie driver in history to claim a victory at Charlotte.

Matt passed the 2 million-dollar mark in Winston Cup career earnings this past weekend at Martinsville.

Matt Kenseth's Thoughts on Charlotte

"I like racing at Charlotte because it's close to home and to our shop. It's a fun track. It will be fun to go back to Charlotte because we won the last race there in the spring. But the fall race seems to be a lot different. We have to race during the day. The track is more slippery and more moody during the afternoon. This race is going to require a good set up to handle the track conditions."
