U.S. GRAND PRIX: Formula One drivers visit hospital to spend time with children

INDIANAPOLIS- Five Formula One drivers spent time
Thursday signing autographs and posing for pictures with young patients at
Rileys Children Hospital in Indianapolis.Two-time World Champion Michael Schumacher of Ferrari, Jordan teammates Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Jarno Trulli, Williams driver Jenson Button and Benetton driver Giancarlo Fisichella spent part of the afternoon interacting with the children.
Also in attendance was Professor Sid Watkins, the world-renowned neurosurgeon who is also president of the Medical Commission for the FIA and Formula One Medical Delegate.
The drivers signed SAP United States Grand Prix posters while talking with the children and their parents.
"It was great that they came," said Heather Tishner, special events coordinator for Rileys Childrens Hospital. "They made many of the childrens and parents day.
Many additional posters were signed for children unable to meet the drivers in person.
