DAVID GREEN FIRED UP FOR DOVER: David Green, driver of the No. 34 AFG Glass Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the NASCAR Busch Series, is looking forward to the addition of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race to Dover Downs International Speedway.

Friday's MBNA Palladian Travel 200 marks the first time the Truck Series has raced at the one-mile concrete track and with the trucks in attendance, Green hopes to be able to get a closer look at the track dubbed The Monster Mile'.

"I think we are all excited about having the trucks with us at Dover," said Green. "I know I am. It gives us the chance to see more action on the track which is beneficial at any race track. And, who doesn't want to see more racing?"

For Saturday's MBNA.com 200 Busch Series event, Green will be piloting the same car he brought to Dover in June and will utilize the notes from a testing session the AFG Glass team participated in on August 14 at Bristol Motor Speedway, the only other concrete track on the Busch Series schedule.

"When we tested at Bristol this summer, we learned a lot of things that will be very helpful to us at Dover," said the Owensboro, Kentucky native. "The tracks are somewhat similar since they are both concrete. Hopefully we'll end up with a better finish than we did in June." TESTING AND COACHING: David Green and the AFG Glass Racing team will be participating in an open test session at Lowe's Motor Speedway on September 25 and 26 in preparation for the All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 NASCAR Busch Series race which will be held on October 7.

Green will also be in attendance at a testing session at North Carolina Speedway on September 29 and 30, but this time it will not be to test the No. 34 car, but to act as a coach to Ricky Hendrick, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet in select NASCAR Busch Series races.
