General admission tickets still available for Sept. 22-23
INDIANAPOLIS- All Race Day tickets - reserved and general admission - for the SAP United States Grand Prix on Sunday, Sept. 24 are sold out, Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials announced today.
General admission tickets remain available for practice on Friday, Sept. 22 and qualifications on Saturday, Sept. 23. Those tickets must be purchased at the gate, as the deadline for mail orders has passed. Friday and Saturday general admission tickets provide access to the Speedway s grandstands and viewing mounds located on the infield portion of the road course. Seating on the mounds is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Single-day general admission tickets are available for $10 for Friday and $20 for Saturday.
All reserved seats for the SAP United States Grand Prix, the first Formula One race in the United States since 1991, were sold out by early May 2000. The Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400, the Speedways two oval events, also sell out annually.
