Jeff Green on Richmond: Jeff Green, current points leader and driver of the No. 10 Nestl NesQuik Chevrolet on the NASCAR Busch Series, considers Richmond International Raceway one of his favorite tracks on the circuit.

"Richmond is a driver's dream," said Green. "It is fast and big enough to make passes. I love racing on that size racetrack and I feel it is perfect for these type of cars. Of course, winning there this spring makes it extra-special to me."

Last Year At Richmond: In the fall event at Richmond last year, Green led a few laps and ran in the top-five all night before breaking an axle with 50 laps to go and finished 29th.

Birthday Boy: Green celebrates his 38th birthday on Wednesday, September 6, 2000. He plans on marking the occasion by having a party on Saturday night with his team watching the Winston Cup event at Richmond.

The Marrying Man: Crew chief, Harold Holly, will spend his upcoming off-weekend by tying the knot with fiance, Pam Browning, on Saturday, September 16th.

Equipment: The NesQuik Racing team is taking the same car to Richmond that competed earlier this year at Loudon (fin. 2nd), South Boston (fin. 1st), Myrtle Beach (fin. 1st), Milwaukee (fin. 1st), St. Louis (fin. 5th) and IRP (fin. 3rd). Green nicknamed the car, "Bonus" since each time he has ran it this year, the crew members have received a "bonus" from their top-five finishes. Ironically, Green will not use the car he won with during the spring event at Richmond.

"We are taking Jeff's favorite car to Richmond," said Holly. "We wanted to take this car to the spring Richmond race, but it was painted Nestea blue for the upcoming Loudon race, so we couldn't use it. We used his second favorite car which ended up working out for us and got us to Victory Lane."
