ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Grand Sport Racing earned its first-ever Speedvision Presentation Award at Texas Motor Speedway, September 1-3. Turner Motorsport and Team NayKid completed the top-three.

In addition to participation in pre-race promotional activities, Grand Sport made the debut of its latest blue and white Corvette C5, joining the teams existing C5 and C4 Corvettes. Throughout the weekend, the team entertained members of the local C5 Registry at its new transporter.

Turner Motorsport (BMW) and Team NayKid (Corvette) also provided shelter to local car clubs in the oppressive Texas heat, which reached 109 degrees.

Honorable mentions were received by Viper Speed and Hagestad Racing.

The Speedvision Presentation Award recognizes the teams which put on the best show in the paddock and on pit lane. Items contributing to a good presentation include, but are not limited to: car appearance, crew appearance, paddock appearance, availability to fans, promotional materials and promotional activities. Each event winner receives a $500 bonus, with a $10,000 bonus going to the team earning the most year-end points.

With their second-place at Texas, Turner Motorsport moved into a tie for the lead with Hikari Racing.
