Matt Kenseth will NOT be racing in the NASCAR Truck Series at Richmond. Kenseth is not scheduled to compete in the truck series at all this year. Matt will drive in the Busch Series race on Friday night and contend for the Winston No Bull Million on Saturday night in his DEWALT Winston Cup Ford.
Kenseth will be racing the same DEWALT Ford Taurus he ran at Loudon, where he grabbed a 19th place finish.
Matt and the DEWALT Race Team tested at Richmond International Raceway on August 29 & 30 in preparation for the 400 lap night race on Sept. 9.
Matt Kenseth's Thoughts on Richmond
"We always ran good at Richmond in the Busch Series car. But last spring in the Winston Cup car we did not have a good race at all. We tested last week at Richmond with a couple of different cars. I thought we got one of then running real good. It will be my first No-Bull Five race. Having the chance to win a million dollars and for a fan to win a million should be pretty exciting."
