The 33rd Annual Car Craft All-star Drag Racing Team Banquet was held Saturday, September 2nd at the Westin Hotel in Indianapolis. Team Jeg's was well represented at the banquet. Jeg Coughlin, Jr. (Pro Stock Driver), Mike Coughlin (Pro Stock Truck), Gary Pearman (Pro Racing Crew Chief), Dart Machinery/Richard Maskin (Pro Racing Engine Builder) and Jeg's Mail Order (Pro Racing Sponsor) were all finalists in their respective categories.

Jeg Coughlin, Jr. was the winner of the Pro Stock Driver of the Year Award. He first became a member of the Car Craft All-star Drag Racing Team in '93 for his accomplishments in Super Gas.

"A moment like this would not be possible without a strong team behind you," explained Jeg. "It is an honor to win this award for our team. The guys on Team Jeg's give me all the tools I need to do my job. I could not be successful without them!"

Team Jeg's Pro Stock Crew Chief Gary Pearman was the winner of the Pro Crew Chief category. Gary was the winner of the Pro Racing Crew Chief category in '90 when he was with Larry Morgan.

"This means a lot to our team to win this award," explained Pearman. "It is a group effort on our team and I am honored to represent everyone on Team Jeg's. Team work is what makes accomplishments like this happen."

Team Jeg's engine builder Richard Maskin was the winner of the Pro Stock Engine Builder award. Maskin has been a finalist numerous times. He has previously been a winner of this prestigious award twice.

"Winning this award is a big shot in the arm for our program," said Maskin. "I would like to thank everyone on Team Jeg's and DART Machinery for making this possible. We all work well together."
