Irwindale, Calif. - - A scheduling conflict will not allow the ARCA Truck Series to make its Irwindale racing debut on Saturday night, October 21, 2000 as planned. "Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until next year to see the ARCA Trucks on our -mile," said Bob DeFazio, the Speedway's Vice President/COO.

Richard Michaud, ARCA West President, expressed similar feelings, "We are excited about the 2001 season and looking froward to competing at what everyone agrees, is one of America's finest -mile racing facilities," he indicated.

"The good thing is that we're already planning ARCA Truck events for next year including the West Coast season finale for the division," DeFazio concluded. "I know that the fans are really going to miss this show, but the circumstances were such that we just couldn't reschedule the event back into our 2000 season."
