Flat Rock, N.C.- Andy Petree Racing announced today that Elliott Sadler will pilot the No. 15 Hot Tamales Chevrolet for three remaining NASCAR Busch Series races scheduled by the sponsor during the 2000 season.

"To help grow our Busch Grand National program, we needed to put a more experienced driver in the seat for the rest of the season," said team owner, Andy Petree. "The Hot Tamales people have been great to work with and we would like to get them in victory lane before the season is over."

Sadler will pilot the No. 15 Hot Tamales Chevrolet at Richmond International Raceway on September 8, North Carolina Motor Speedway on October 21 and Phoenix International Raceway on November 4. The team also fields the No. 15 Albertson's Chevrolet driven by Mike Skinner in the NASCAR Busch Series along with the No. 33 Oakwood Homes Chevrolet driven by Joe Nemechek and the No. 55 Square D Chevrolet driven by Kenny Wallace on the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit.

"With these veteran drivers, we are very excited about solidifying our program in the Busch Series," said Steve Barkdoll, executive vice-president and general manager for Andy Petree Racing. "Hot Tamales and Albertson's have been great primary sponsors this year. With their support we have made the necessary changes to get our Busch Series program running consistently up front."

"Gilchrist is a very talented driver and has a lot of potential," Petree added. "If the right situation presents itself Derrick will drive for us again, however at this time he is available to explore other opportunities."

Gilchrist will remain an employee of Andy Petree Racing.

Just Born, Inc. began their partnership with NASCAR in November 1999. Hot Tamales, in addition to Just Born's other chewy candies, MIKE and IKE and ZOURS, became "The Official Choice of NASCAR." Just Born candies are the only non-chocolate candies able to use "The Choice of NASCAR" marks on their products. Just Born serves as sponsor of the No. 15 Andy Petree Racing NASCAR Busch Series entry for 10 races during the 2000 season.
