circuit in New York.Justus claimed the pole starting position for both races on the 3.44-mile circuit and led all 14 laps on Sunday's race in his Forsythe/Indeck/Torco Van Diemen Ford. The win, which followed a crash during Saturday's race, left Justus holding a 33-point lead over Ian Lacy in the new series standings going into a September 23 race at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Lacy finished second to Walsh on Saturday and fourth in Sunday's race.
Walsh led all 14 laps of Saturday's race in his Key Motorsport Van Diemen Ford to beat Lacy, Marc-Antoine Camirand, James Hanson and Daniel Muniz. Trailing Justus on Sunday was Walsh, ahead of Mike Andersen, Lacy and Hanson.
Mike Durand and Tom Dyer won ACC Class titles in the two races for their respective ninth and 11th-place finishes.
The series, presented by SpeedVision, now prepares for a 50-lap race on the .686-mile paved oval at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
