WARD BURTON, NO. 22 POLARIS PONTIAC GRAND PRIX (4th):(ON PICKING UP IN QUALIFYING) "Brad (Thrower) and them tuned up the motor real well. That was a big part of it. Actually the lap was better in (turns) one and two than what we had in practice, but I tried to stay in the throttle too long in (turns) three and four, and pushed up really bad. So, it wasn't really a great lap. It was just a good car, good motor."
(WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO WIN TOMORROW?) "You got to handle, man. You've got to be able to keep your foot in it."
