"I've already ran at Michigan this year in the Cup car and we didn't
run very good. The track is very similar to California, which is a track
I really like. It's a track I've been to a bunch of times, so I am
comfortable driving there. I am running the Busch car again, so that will
make it an interesting weekend, competing in two races. I haven't been in
the Busch car for a couple of months, so it will be fun to race that
again. I hope we improve upon our Winston Cup run we had in June. I hope
some of the knowledge from the Busch car will carry over to the Cup car. "
Kenseth will be running the same #17 DEWALT Ford Taurus at Michigan Speedway that he won with at Lowe's Motor Speedway in the Coca-Cola 600 in May.
It was Matt Kenseth day at DEWALT's corporate headquarters in Towson, MD on Tuesday, August 15. Kenseth got a tour of the facility, lunched with the executives and signed autographs for the employees.
Matt will be back in his Busch Car at Michigan Speedway when the Busch and Winston Cup Series come back together after a few months apart. The last time Kenseth competed in his Robbie Reiser owned car was at Dover on June 3.
