(Lexington, Oh)--PacWest drivers Mark Blundell and

Championship Series at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio
Today. After showing signs of promise at different stages of the weekend, both drivers have already put their non-points paying finishes behind them.

Gugelmin, driver of the #17 Nextel PacWest Mercedes-Benz, was forced off course on lap four after being hit from behind and lost a lap before rejoining the field.

"We certainly showed promise at different stages of the weekend and hopefully we can go the next step at the Motorola 220 at Elkhart Lake next weekend," said Blundell.
MAURICIO GUGELMIN - # 17 NEXTEL PACWEST MERCEDES-BENZ 20th
"I got hit from behind on about lap four and that was the end of my race," said Gugelmin.
"I managed to get going again, but we were a lap down.
"My Nextel crew gave me a couple of great pit stops, but only a lap after the second stop I had a misfire and had to park it.
