Team News: Joe Nemechek will also play the role of Winston Cup car owner this weekend at Watkins Glen. NEMCO Motorsports will attempt to qualify the #87 Chevrolet with road course master Ron Fellows behind the wheel. Fellows won the pole and the Busch Grand National Race (Lysol 200) at Watkins Glen this past June. That same weekend, Fellows also finished third in the Craftsman Truck Series race at The Glen.

Joe Nemechek's Thoughts Going into the Global Crossing at the Glen:

"I've got a lot of miles logged up (at Watkins Glen,) and in the past, in the Busch races up there we've run very well. I've never won a race there, but I should have won about four of them. Your car has to work real well; it's a handling racetrack-really high speed. Getting into the corners is very important, and the brakes are probably the most important things there.

"Sears Point (the only other road course on the Winston Cup circuit) is a lot slower racetrack. At Sears Point, you have really slow corners where you get down in first gear. At Watkins Glen, depending on your transmission ratio, you normally don't ever get down into first gear because the corners are so much faster."
