Last Wednesday night's Indianapolis Speedrome Midget Car Series
rainout at
the Indianapolis Speedrome has created a scenario whereby the final four
races in the 2000 series will be held at Mount Lawn Speedway in New
Castle,
Ind. The rained-out August 2 event has been rescheduled for Saturday
night,
September 23, joining September 3, 9 and 30 races already scheduled at the
3/10-mile paved New Castle oval. All New Castle feature events will be 40
laps.
In addition, race organizer John Stiles has rescheduled the August 23 race at the Indianapolis Speedrome for Thursday night, August 24, to avoid conflict with the August 23 "Mel Kenyon Classic" MCI WorldCom National Midget Car race at Indianapolis Raceway Park.
