Kevin Grubb, No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "I don't know what happened but I ca tell you it has something to do with some of the guys only taking two tires, I think. We just got caught in it this time. It pretty much happens every year. We got mounted up on top of Hank Parker and ended up getting back on the ground, but we have a lot of work to do here."

Mike McLaughlin, No. 48 Goulds Pumps Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "Kinda ran out of room getting into room. We both ended up in the fence. It was a pretty good lick. I feel back. We've been working hard and have nothing to show for it. I think this Goulds Pumps Chevrolet is pretty much done for the night."

Jason Schuler, No. Visine Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "I was just racing there with Buckshot (Jones, No. 00) and the No. 77 car. We got a little tight coming out of (turn) two there and I don't know if Buckshot was trying to hold me down or what, but we got together and I just went for a ride. We had a pretty good car today."

Ron Hornaday, No. 3 NAPA Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "The whole team and their pit stops won this race tonight. Everybody. NAPA, Chevrolet, just everyone. They've been working hard on pit stops every night. They showed it tonight. They were awesome. I didn't think Purvis was going to be that tough with just two tires. Next time we need some pit strategy here, we'll have to look at that. My hat's off to him (Purvis). He took me really clean. When I passed him I got loose. We never touched. He drove me hard and clean.

"When you win something like this, it's an honor. You know the new Monte Carlo body that I complained about at the beginning of the year? There was nothing wrong with that. It was just a matter of me figuring out how to drive these things. And these guys working with the chassis. And I'll tell you, it was just an awesome day. The whole team worked their guys out. They got me out of the pits. That was the whole key to the whole day. This team is really coming around."

Jeff Green, No. 10 NesQuik Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "The car was pretty good there when the sunshine was out and it was really good there at the halfway point. But the more we run and the cooler it got, this NesQuik Chevy got tight up off the corners. Track position was everything and if I'd have had that clean air, I'd have been fine. We had a good run for the NesQuik Chevy. Hornaday and the No. 4 car, man they ran good. My hats off to 'em. I just never could get around 'em. I could get to 'em, but it was making me even tighter behind there cars. It was a case of whoever got out front was going to win. Hornaday got a good run on the No. 4 car that restart and kinda pushed him up out of the way and got by. But it was a good race for him. Harold (Holly), my crew chief, lost a good friend in Alabama. I'd like to dedicate this one to him. His name was Harold Joe. It was a good night for us, all in all."

Jason Keller, No. 57 Excedrin Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "It was a good night. We had Excedrin PM on the car tonight and gave them a good run. But we could just really never get our car perfect. And I think those guys in front of us did in order to pass - you had to have your car so free - and to turn up off the corner. But hey, another top five, I'm not going complain with that. I'm not going to overstep my bounds and get too picky. We're racing a lot of guys in the points. We just need to be consistent and that's what we're doing."

Jeff Purvis, No. 4 Porter Cable Pontiac Grand Prix: "We had a great race car, there's no doubt about it. We came in and took on two tires. Put me out front. I had a real good race car there at the end. My car was just a little bit tight on exit. He'd (Hornaday) get a run on me on the restarts. When I could get a really good run on Ron (Hornaday), I just couldn't get by him. This team is really coming together. Anytime you can get a top five, a second-place finish, you've had a good day."

Jason Leffler, No. 18 MBNA Pontiac Grand Prix: "We really had a good car. It was good off the trailer. The guys really worked hard and everybody did a great job."
