USAC: Speedrome Midget Race Rained Out; Series Continues Next Week

Rain forced cancellation of Wednesday night's USAC Regional Midget Car race at the Indianapolis Speedrome. The series continues next Wednesday night (August 9) with a 50-lap feature on tap at the 1/5-mile paved oval before moving to New Castle, Ind. for an August 16 race on the 3/10-mile paved oval at Mount Lawn Speedway.
Speedrome Midget Series schedule changes have placed the three 40-lap series finales at Mount Lawn's 3/10-mile paved oval on September 3, 9 and 30. The September races replace respective rainouts from July 5, May 17 and June 14.
