DETROIT and SAN FRANCISCO - Championship Auto Racing Teams, Inc. and CART's Internet partner Quokka Sports, Inc. announced today that the 10 finalist essays in the Biggest CART Fan Contest are now posted at www.CART.com . A panel of CART drivers selected the finalists from among the many essays submitted online and through the mail. Fellow CART fans can now log onto www.CART.com and cast their vote for the "Biggest CART Fan." The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to the final race of the year in Fontana, California, where they will spend the day with leading CART drivers Michael Andretti, Christian Fittipaldi and Tony Kanaan and their teams.

"I was really impressed with the passion, knowledge and enthusiasm shown by our great fans in this contest," said Kanaan. "We really have the best fans in the world, and it will be exciting to see who emerges as the winner."

"This contest has already been a great success in bringing together fans and drivers in their passion for CART racing. The interactivity afforded fans through CART.com is allowing them to have an entertainment experience closer to the sport and its drivers," said CART Senior Vice President of Marketing Patrick Leahy. "The next step of the contest will be equally as exciting as CART enthusiasts will have the final say in selecting the Biggest CART Fan."
