USAC: Saturday's Irwindale TQ race cancelled

Scheduling conflicts at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway have forced cancellation of this Saturday night's scheduled USAC MCI WorldCom TQ Midget Car race. Speedway and USAC officials are negotiating for a replacement date late in the season.
The USAC MCI WorldCom TQ Midget Car Series will resume with an August 26 event on Irwindale's 1/3-mile paved oval.
