Lyndon Amick, No. 35 Powertel Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "I couldn't see it (the wreck) 'cause I got hit from behind. I don't know what happened. This is about the fourth week in a row we've had trouble like this. Something breaks, or somebody hits us, or something's going on. We've been running where we need to be. Man, this is aggravating."

Justin Labonte, No. 44 Slim Jim Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "Well, the motor blew up. We'd been having problems with it during practice."

Kevin Harvick, No. 2 ACDelco Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "I'll tell you what, Todd (Berrier, crew chief) and the guys made some excellent calls today. We had a good car. I actually thought the race was 250 laps. I kept looking at the scoreboard going, 'My gosh, we're in big trouble'. But everything worked out. The last set of tires held up pretty good. It was like the first set. Can't say enough for my guys. This (win) has been coming. We could taste it. We've been frustrated. We've missed a race. Todd (Bodine) ran good tonight and we raced good together. We raced hard with Jeff (Green) earlier. The second set of tires wasn't quite as good as the first one. The last set of tires was like the first one. It was a good deal. We've been so close (to a win) for the last seven or eight weeks."

Todd Bodine, No. 66 Phillips Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "That last set of tires didn't run as fast for whatever reason. This is what we needed. This Phillips 66 team never gives up. They never give up. It's the mark of a champion. And this is a championship team and I'm proud to be a part of it. We've had a lot of bad luck, but we're definitely happy with this tonight."

Jason Keller, No. 57 Excedrin Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "It's hard when you only get an hour and a half of practice. But we finally got the balance a lot better. Another top five for the Excedrin Chevrolet, we've just got to keep crackin' them out. They're not wins, but they're top fives. We're getting really consistent. We got a little behind there on track position - about the first 100 laps. But the guys did well. Once we got behind, we stayed about the same distance back, but could never make it up. We kind of got spread out there and really, it's a track position race track. But hey, we did well. We can't complain. We can't overstep our bounds. We can't forget what we're here for - just to get really consistent and to get another top five."

Jeff Green, No. 10 NesQuik Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "We run out of fuel up off (turn) two. It burbled. I wanted to shut it off, you know. It kept burbling all the way down the back straightaway. You got to use the access to get in to pit road. I wanted to shut it off but I didn't know my pit road speed. So had to leave it running for a little while 'til I got over there. Then I killed it. Shut it off so I'd have a little fuel left. But when I got down there, got a little gas in it, it fired up and then it quit. And then the starter wouldn't kick in. So we tried to start the motor, just had to push it. All in all, it was a good night for the NesQuik Chevy. You can't win 'em all. We had a good enough car to win. But losing that under green like that and never having a caution, we just couldn't get back up there with 'em. I don't know if anybody was going to pass that (No.) 2 the way he drives. He's driving to win and that's good. I mean, that's good. I think we had something for 'em. We could run with him early. We'll just have to wait for IRP."

Kenny Wallace, No. 25 Lance Snacks Chevrolet Monte Carlo: "I don't mean to sound like a sore sport. I guess I should be happier with top tens these days I guess 'cause they're harder to get. This is what I expect out of myself. The biggest thing I'm proud of is the change the team went through a month ago. For them to come away with two top tens in the last four races since the change, I commend them. I' talking about moving shops and hiring new people and the pit stops were really good. I got caught for pit road speed. The race went green and it killed us. I don't think we were going to win, but we had an awesome car in the end. We definitely had a shot for 4th or 5th but we'll have to take 8th. Second top ten in a row for Team Rensi. We were competitive and that's what it's all about. The car was tight and the track was very temperamental. It rained for three days. There were a lot of cars doing a lot of different things out there. I just had to keep feeding information to Greg Ely and we did a lot of adjusting. We suffer on these intermediate tracks and we cross our fingers when we go to qualify. Michigan will be a different deal. Intermediate tracks have been our weak point, but the program has picked up the last month and hopefully we'll be all right.
