It's been 26 races since Casey Atwood, driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo, has scored a top five finish. The 19-year-old driver's last top five finish was his victory at Dover Downs International Speedway on September 25, 1999.

Saturday's Carquest Auto Parts 250 marks Casey Atwood's 65th NASCAR Busch Series start. The 19-year-old driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo made his first series start at North Carolina Speedway on February 21, 1998.

The next two NASCAR Busch Series events offer the Castrol GTX Racing team the opportunity to be close to home. Based in Central City, Kentucky, the No. 27 team is approximately four hours from both Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois and Indianapolis Raceway Park in Clermont, Indiana.

One in every four starts for Casey Atwood in 2000 has resulted in a top 10 finish for the driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Casey Atwood is currently eighth in the series point standings, 144 points behind seventh position.
