"Pikes Peak is my kind of track. I like it because it's a racer's race track that has plenty of room to race. Turns one and two are tight while turns three and four are sweeping, similar to the layout of Vegas." --Buckshot Jones, driver of the No. 00

The Big 30 for Double Zero

* Buckshot Jones hopes to have a premature birthday celebration in victory lane at PPIR on Saturday. Jones will turn 30 years old on Sunday, July 23, one day after the NAPA AutoCare 250

Back in 1998

* During the inaugural NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division race at PPIR in 1998, Jones led 69 laps before blowing a tire while leading the race with only 62 laps remaining in the event.

Last Weekend at Nazareth

"We had a good car right off the truck and didn't make any drastic changes to the car all weekend. I thought we had a top-10 car until the right front tire blistered on us late in the race. It's those little problems that have bitten us all year long, one after another."
