* Buckshot Jones hopes to have a premature birthday celebration in victory lane at PPIR on Saturday. Jones will turn 30 years old on Sunday, July 23, one day after the NAPA AutoCare 250
Back in 1998
* During the inaugural NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division race at PPIR in 1998, Jones led 69 laps before blowing a tire while leading the race with only 62 laps remaining in the event.
Last Weekend at Nazareth
"We had a good car right off the truck and didn't make any drastic changes to the car all weekend. I thought we had a top-10 car until the right front tire blistered on us late in the race. It's those little problems that have bitten us all year long, one after another."
