LaJoie Looks Ahead to the NAPA Auto Care 250:
"We haven't had a lot of time on the track because we've only raced there twice, but I've had a shot to win both times.
"I was leading the race last year when I just spun out. It took us until the next weekend at Gateway (Mo.) to figure out there was debris packed behind the sheet metal in front of the wheel. Something must have jarred it loose and I ran over it. The next thing I knew, I was spinning around. We also came up a little short in 1998 because of a problem in the pits.
"The track reminds me a lot of Las Vegas. It's pretty smooth and it fits my driving style. It's one of the best tracks we race on all year. You can pass fairly easily, and it's a pretty racy little track. It's such a beautiful facility, especially since you can actually see Pikes Peak from the race track."
