USAC: Dancs eyes 'Triple Crown' round 2 at Sears Point Saturday

Franc Dancs of Hillsborough, Calif. hopes to pick up where he left off when the Russell Racing School's USAC "Triple Crown" Pro Series resumes this weekend at Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.
Dancs leads the series standings after leading all 24 laps of the series opener and hopes to put more space between himself and runner-up Camilo Zurcher in the standings going into the scheduled series finale September 1-2 at Thunderhill Park in Willows, Calif.
Practice is scheduled Friday and Saturday, with qualifying at noon on Saturday. Sunday's 30-minute race starts at 9 am, following an 8 am warm-up session.
