David Fuhrman of Plainfield, Ind. earned his second Indianapolis Speedrome Midget Car Series feature victory Wednesday night, driving his Umber's Ace Hardware/Pennzoil Special to victory in the 50-lap race at the 1/5-mile paved oval.

Furhman passed a spinning Eric Roberts on lap 47 and led the rest of the way for the win. He also won the series opener in April. Roberts eventually finished 10th in the race as Joe Justice, who led the first 27 laps, ended up second ahead of Andy Anderson, Sondi Eden and Ron Hamm. Roberts had led laps 28-46 before his spin. Anderson and Jason Burgess won the heat races.

The Speedrome Regional Midget Car Series continues with another 50-lapper next Wednesday night, July 19.

The rained-out July 5 event at the Speedrome has been rescheduled for Saturday night, July 29, and will be held at the Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind. A 40-lap feature is planned.
