Tony Stewart's plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Ashville, NC Wednesday evening.

"It was really no big deal, to be honest with you. It sounds a lot more dramatic than it really was. Asheville just wasn't really in our plans, so I guess they have to call that an emergency landing. (Pilot) Bob (Burris) just did what he knew had to do when he got the instrument readings he was getting.

"Don't get me wrong - I really do appreciate all the fans that have been concerned about it, but there is nothing to be worried about. Believe it or not, I'm actually more confident now in the safety of air travel than I was before."
