ASA: Australian racer to make ASA debut at Chicago

MONTCLAIR, Va. - Mark Plows Motorsports has announced a
limited schedule of selected American Speed Association (ASA) ACDelco
Series races for the 2000 season with sponsorship from Net2Phone. The
team will debut at Chicago Motor Speedway for the USAMeats.com 200 on July
16.
Mark J. Plows, a go-kart and semi-pro rally racer in his native Canberra, Australia, raced Modifieds in 1996 after moving to the United States. In 1997 he campaigned a Grand Stock in the Winston Weekly Racing Series, taking Rookie of the Year honors and winning his first feature event in 1998. He competed in Late Models in 1999.
Mark Plows Motorsports intends to run a full 2001 schedule with Plows contending for the Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year honors.
