Last Year: Bobby Hamilton's bid for victory in last year's running of the New England 200 ended with a hard crash in turn three, with just five laps to go. As Hamilton entered the turn, a tire blew out and he hit the wall head on. At the time of the accident, Hamilton was gaining on the leaders and looked as if a solid finish was in his future.

This year, Hamilton hopes to finish every lap and get the No. 4 Dana Borg-Warner truck into victory lane. If Hamilton can achieve such a feat, it would be his second Truck Series victory of the year. This would definitely please Borg Warner, which will be displayed prominently on the sides and hood of the No. 4 Dana Dodge.

Hamilton, who has 15 starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has three poles to his credit and over $ 140,000 in career earnings in the series.

Same Truck as Martinsville: Bobby Hamilton will be driving the same truck (Goober) he won the NAPA 250 Truck Series event at Martinsville, Virginia earlier this year. In that race, Hamilton led 179 of the 250 laps.

Crew Chief: Fred Wanka will serve as Crew Chief for Bobby Hamilton and the No. 4 Dana Dodge. Wanka began the year with Petty Enterprises before leaving at mid-year. He also helped the Dana Racing team in Monroe, Washington when Danny Gill was unable to attend the event. Wanka helped Ruttman win the pole and finish third in that event.

Truck Points: Bobby Hamilton enters this week's truck race in 36th place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Driver Point Standings. The No. 4 truck, driven by Hamilton and Donny Morelock, is in 34th place in the Truck Series Owner Point's Standings.

Laps and Miles lead: Entering the New England 200, Bobby Hamilton sits fourth in laps led (224) and seventh (138.404) in miles led this year, despite the fact he has only run three of the 14 events this season.
