The recent resurgence of the yellow and black JEG'S Pro Stock Trucks has both John and Mike in the top ten, No 4 and No. 8 respectfully. With the race in their hometown behind them John and Mike are ready to get back on track. The two brothers are coming off of second round defeats and they are ready to get back to their winning ways.

John Coughlin and his Chevy S-10 enter the Sears Craftsman Nationals 89 points behind the No. 3 position. He is within striking distance of the No. 3 spot. A strong performance this weekend will move John closer to the No. 1 spot, which is currently held by last years champion Bob Panella.

"We are ready to focus on this weekend with everything that we have," noted John. "I plan to treat this race like it is the first race of the season and that I have to gain as many points as possible."

Mike Coughlin made his Pro Stock Truck debut at the Sears Craftsman Nationals in 1998 and is looking forward to returning to Gateway International Raceway. Mike is 39 points from taking over the No. 7 spot. A strong performance this weekend could move Mike as high as the No. 5 position in the NHRA Winston Championship.

"I can't wait to come back to the track where it all started," said Mike. "Our program has grown leaps and bounds since we first rolled our JEG'S Mail Order Chevy S-10 out of the trailer for the first time in '98. I am really looking forward to having a great weekend where it all started!"
