Mixed Emotions... Tim Fedewa has mixed emotions about the annual trip to Myrtle Beach Speedway. Fedewa captured his third career pole at the .538-mile speedway in 1998, but it's also the place where he lost his pride and joy - his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Last year, he rode his Harley Davidson down for the race, but he didn't get to ride his bike back.

"All week long I was just riding it around the beach like everyone with a motorcycle does, thinking I was cool, and I guess somebody liked the bike more than I did," Fedewa said. "I got up Saturday morning and went to get my bike to ride it to the race track, and it wasn't there."

Fedewa won't be taking his Harley Davidson this year, but not because of the theft last year. "I can't figure out how to do it logistically because I'll be testing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday," he said. "I would love to have my bike at the beach with me. If I can figure out how to get it down here, I will."

It's a family affair...The entire Fedewa clan will get to spend some quality time together this weekend in Myrtle Beach. Fedewa's wife Terri and mother Sharon will meet him and his father Butch at the beach on Wednesday. Butch drives the BSR Parts truck for the NASCAR Busch Series. The family Chihuahuas Courtney and Molly will also join the Fedewas at the beach.

"When he go for the race, the whole family likes to travel down early and hang out at the beach," Fedewa said. "Our schedule doesn't allow very much relaxation and family time, so Myrtle Beach is the perfect opportunity to combine racing and relaxation."

Who Wants To Be A Tool Winner? Phil Furr became a tool winner when he claimed the prize in the Stanley Tools Sweepstakes 2000. Don't forget to pick up an entry form and guess where Fedewa and the Stanley team will finish this weekend at Watkins Glen International.
