Veteran Mark Gibson, in the Kenwood Communications-Cornwell Quality Tools Chevy, was the BSR 2nd Round Fastest Qualifier at 180.936 mph. Had Gibson qualified with that speed in 1st round on Thursday, the Auburn GA driver would have started 9th on the grid. Instead, he'll roll off 26th in Saturday's FLAGSTAR 200.
