Daryl Campbell of Indianapolis, Ind. led all but the first four laps of Wednesday night's 50-lap USAC Midget feature at the Indianapolis Speedrome to extend his lead in the 2000 Speedrome Regional Midget Series.

He passed early leader Eric Roberts on the fiftb lap and led the rest of the way in his Matlock Ford/IFI Floors/Kelly Custom Home Designs/Dave's Guns & Tubs VW. Brad Kuhn finished second ahead of Rick Treadway, Roberts and Cole Carter.

Jerry Frickman and Kuhn captured the two 15-lap heat races which preceded the 50-lap main event.

The Speedrome Midget Series continues with another 50-lap race on Wednesday night, June 14 and Campbell now holds a 60-point lead over Kuhn in the standings. A victory next Wednesday night would make Campbell the first driver to win four straight in the series since Michael Lang won six straight in 1996.
