WEST ALLIS, Wis--An oil leak halted driver Luiz Garcia Jr. and the Project Racing Groups (P.R.G.) race during the Miller Lite 225 Monday afternoon.

The race was held one day after rain postponed the event.

Garcia, 29, of Aventura, Fla., was hoping to score points for the P.R.G. for the third time this season. Garcias Hollywood car came in on his 115th lap, and was forced out of the race when the P.R.G. discovered the problem.

The team will test at the Mid-Ohio Road Course later this week.

Quotes

"We found an oil leak in the car. At first, I wasnt sure what it was but I came in. Its just sad really because I was running the same lap times as the leaders. At the beginning of the race the car had a push, which got worse as the race went on. When I came in for a pit stop, we tried more downforce, but that didnt help. When I came in the second time, the tire pressure was found to me too high. The car was really flying though on full fuel tanks. It was hooked, make no mistake of it." -- Luiz Garcia Jr., Driver

"We developed an oil leak during the race which put us out. I was really happy with Luizs race today. He was running some great times and were on the right track. We are looking forward to our test at Mid-Ohio this week." -- Andreas Leberle, Team Owner
