SCCA: Penalties, Probations assessed after Mosport and Lime Rock

ENGLEWOOD, Colo--SCCA Pro Racing, sanctioning body of the Speedvision World Challenge Championships, announced the following penalties and probations following the Mosport International Raceway and Lime Rock Park rounds.

Mosport International Raceway (May 19-21)

Speedvision GT No. 42 Peter Cunningham, two-race probation for contact with No. 6 Frank Allers

Speedvision Touring Car No. 92 Will Turner, three-race probation for contact with No. 43 Hugh Plumb No. 44 Kevin Schrantz, two-race probation for contact with No. 80 Ken Dobson

Lime Rock Park (May 26-27)

Speedvision GT No. 9 Michael Galati, two-race probation for contact with No. 01 Bill Cooper No. 79 Justin Jackson, five-point and half-purse penalty for passing under yellow

Speedvision Touring Car No. 92 Will Turner, continue three-race probation, nine-point and half-purse penalty for contact with No. 43 Plumb No. 8 Taz Harvey, $50 penalty for delay of time-certain event No. 42 Pierre Kleinubing, $50 penalty for delay of time-certain event
