About the Cars -- The Albertson's Chevrolet the team is bringing to Dover is the same car that Mike Skinner's teammate Derrick Gilchrist drove in California.

"It was unfortunate at Charlotte that we had trouble with the transmission," said Chris Carrier, crew chief of the No. 15 Albertson's Chevrolet. "We had a solid running car that easily could have finished in the top 10, but Mike and the team pulled together when we needed it and we were still able to finish 15th."

"It has been a challenge this year because it seems like we are building a new car for each race," said Carrier. "We are a young team that fortunately has the Winston Cup side of Andy Petree Racing to assist us in setting the cars up at tracks where we don't have much experience. We are going into Dover this weekend having only raced the No. 15 there once, and that was two years ago. But we will get to race Charlotte and Dover again this year and I think we'll be able to see the difference."

On Skinner --The team will compete in four more Busch events in 2000 with the Mike Skinner driving the Albertson's Chevrolet. The Andy Petree Racing team is confident and looking forward to driving into victory lane.

"We didn't know what was going to happen with Mike," said Carrier. "That sixth-place finish in California and the 15th-place finish in Charlotte were turning points for this team and our Albertson's Chevrolet. Everyone's attitude has changed thanks to Mike. He is so calm in the race car, has a very positive attitude and, most importantly, he just doesn't get rattled. With his demeanor and experience I have no doubt we'll be seeing victory lane before this season is over.."

"Mike has added a big boost to our BGN program and all of APR," said Steve Barkdoll vice president of Andy Petree Racing. "The enthusiasm when you know that the Albertson's car can win every week is enough to carry over to both our Winston Cup programs. Mike has a great attitude and he represents us and our sponsors well."
