The Pro Stock Truck class will return to the quarter-mile battle field after a three week break. The NHRA Prestone Nationals is the showcase for NHRA newest professional class. Over 35 drivers will battle for the title and eight elite drivers will go to war over the Holley Dominator Pro Stock Truck Duel as part of the Prestone Nationals.

John Coughlin enters the seventh race for the Pro Stock Truck class No. 4 in the NHRA Winston Championship. He has 318 points and is 89 points behind Greg Stanfield.

"Our program has really turned around recently," said John. "I can't wait to let the clutch out in Chicago, we are going to be tough."

Mike Coughlin is resting in the 11 spot and is a mere five points from breaking back into the top ten. Another strong performance and Mike could leave the Prestone Nationals holding on to the No. 7 position in the NHRA Winston Championship points.

"We are gaining momentum and the three week break gave us the time that we needed to further strengthen our program," commented Mike. "We have been busy preparing for this race and we are all looking forward to a strong weekend for the yellow and black."

The Holley Pro Stock Truck Dominator Duel will be run Saturday, June 3rd. Both John and Mike Coughlin are among the elite eight drivers to race in this all-star event. This is the second straight year that Mike has participated in the special event. John will make his first career appearance.

"I am really looking forward to this race within a race," said Mike. "There is a lot of energy and excitement being involved in such a great program."

"We couldn't be happier to have both of our JEG'S Chevy S-10 be a part of such a special day for truck class, fans, and the dedicated people of Holley Performance Products," stated John. "Racing in a format like this is rewarding to everyone involved, it's a goal of every Pro Stock Truck driver."
